Slowly but surely it shall get there. I'm really hoping this one goes with a paint job. Does anyone really have any idea whats happening with the first 3 floors, and whether the awnings over the windows on all floors will be removed or left as it is?

If the whole building is finished with that style it will look pretty sweet. I hope this refurbishment encourages the hilton hotel to refurbish their exterior, then the buildings around victoria square will look modern and add some attration to the square.

Are they gonna remove those stupid looking flower boxes between each level as they look totally out of place with the new glass?

is the whole building currently empty or are they still occupied? I wonder who the tenants were before the refurbishment? Never paid much attention to that building.

Its coming along nicely. Vic Square is slowly and truelly becoming the heart of the city. I like it

heres a pic as i rode past. There are still people working in the top half of the building. The lights are on, and people are still walking in and out of building in the little gap on the ground

It's funny how you see in the photos and the glass are reflective, but when I actually drove past yesterday, it seems to me like the glass are see-through clear type.

Well, logically thinking - I think the 'flower boxes' theyre actually a wierd sort of awning for providing shade to the windows - are staying, because surely if they removed them now, the risk to damaging newly installed windows would be quite high. I'd imagine they would have done that before installing the windows, not after. Again, on the other hand, they look very easily detachable, and with utmost care taken into account during its removal they could still be removed. Hard to say at this stage.

Other than that, the glassing looks great and honestly, I think the awnings work well with the new glass, just as long as they give the building a paint job it should be fantastic.

In regards to the glass on this building. I saw it a couple of weeks back at night and it was lit up inside the refurbished floors. The transparent glass looked excellent. Could see a heap of inside detail and that was only with construction work lighting. So at night this one will look great as well I reckon.
