Unfortunately not available on weekends. Will be on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday, late morning around 11/12ish and lasts for an hour. It does cost a meagre $5 per person, with a minimum of 10 people in a group. The tour is run by the National Trust."Take a guided tour through the original underground tunnels of the old Adelaide Treasury Building. See where gold was transported, the Cabinet Room and more. This is one of the oldest and most historically significant buildings in South Australia and has an important association with the colony's administrative history and economic development. It's managed by the National Trust of South Australia. The Adelaide Treasury Building itself has now been restored and redeveloped as Medina Grand hotel. The original building, designed by George Strickland Kingston was constructed in 1839, just three years after the settlement of colony. The Medina Grand is easily accessed, situated on the corner of King William and Flinders Streets."
At this stage I want to gather interest and see how many people are likely to attend. My schedule is starting to get a little tight to even make it myself, would have been a great thing to do over the holiday period, but I didn't know about it then!
