Tiger Airways

#1 Post by tayser » Tue Feb 12, 2008 7:21 pm

christ, imagine when they ramp up their frequency between Melbourne & Adelaide.

This is 2/2 from me: I took advantage of $40 return fares (inc taxes) the other week, and am about to take advantage of it again........ for $20....

$20 for a day in another city is not bad.... not bad at all :) get off your parochial & tight arses and get on that plane croweaters! :D :D

Tonight I booked a day-trip to Melbourne in a couple of months time for me and two other people. $9.95 each, each way. $64.70 all up (for three return flights!)

Decided not to select seats and we'll see where we randomly end up! (hey it's only a short flight anyway!)

 That picture of the plane banking over the foot hill suburbs is where i live(Athelstone NE suburbs). I think my street is hidden by the plane wing. I always see the tiger airways flight in the evening near linear park when i walk my dogs.

Anyway, thanks for those pictures 8)

I was on Tiger a week ago (after the Soceroos game) and I was annoyed how low the plane was flying... I had a very fast heartbeat

I need to fly soon, instead of driving all the time :D

No, but I am......... $365 return including taxes - Melbourne - Singapore (via Darwin). 1/3 the price of a mainline carrier ticket: I'll suck it up.

$365 return!??? Bloody christ thats cheap. I'll set myself up for a holiday soon.

Oh quick question if anyone knows. I understand that tiger has a 'happy hour' in which you by tickets at a discounted price. I am particularly keen on grasping several ADL-MEL flights (about 10 or so return trips next 6 months)... when can I take advantage of this? So i get them for like 10-30 bucks?
