Most definately. I must admit when I read jet boat racing I became somewhat concerned about any impact this might have on the Port River dolphin population. Even if its proven that impacts would be minimal, you could probably still expect to see Greenies picketing that we're hurting Flipper. What about extending the length of a stay? For example, the fact that in March we have the Adelaide Cup, the Fringe, and the Clipsal 500 (and in particular the Fringe) means that people who come for either of the races have a reason to stay longer and take in a show or two.
