And me. Especially after the great thud experienced by the construction scene in Brisbane - great to see everything still going ahead in Adelaide. Good job Will.

The quality of glass on the top section will make or break this building. A repeat of CC1 and its wholly-transparent green glass will not suit the flush design - I'd prefer something closer to the semi-transparent dark blue glass on SA Water's northern elevation or its proposed glass curtain wall on the west side. Just as long as the whole building is not a mess of visible desks, cupboards and blinds, then I'll be happy.

I'm very interested to see how this turns out.

How sleek is that entrance, love it. This and other buildings will completely transform Southern King William Street for the better.

I hope Transport SA/TransAdelaide has plans to revamp the disgraceful tram stops along there.

The only tramstop within the CBD from South Terrace to City West that hasn't been rebuilt or constructed new is City South. If they really wanted to, all the DTIE/TransAdelaide need to do is raise the height of the platform and construct the platform surface to the same standard as that used on the extension, they could even keep the current layout of two, one sided platforms on either side of the intersection if they wanted to. Raise the height, put a new, very slender shelter on (maybe a one sided version of the ones used on the extension) and you could have a decent tram stop.

Although the colour of the glass has still not being chosen, I am of the understanding that it will be non-reflective blue.

Anything is better than green glass

Amen to that!. What a letdown that sub standard stop of City South is at present - it needs upgrading to the same level as KWS Nth. in anticipation of all the high rise develpment to come.(forward thnking - might be asking too much!).

In general the entire section of line between Angas Street and South Terrace needs to be upgraded. The track is the last section of line that has not been upgraded since the rest of the line started being overhauled and the track is quite rough in some parts.

Maybe it will all hapopen together.

On another note - correct me if I'm wrong, but the lastest renders appear to show a building of much less bulk, height and expanse. Is this actually the case since the recent modificants.

Actually quite the opposite, the new modifications have resulted in the building's height being increased from 39.6m to 46.9m. Overall the building's length and width remain the same as before.

Excellent :D

And thanks Will - I did realise about the height increase but wondered about other factors in the equation concerning bulk - eg depth, length etc.
