City's best views back on market

A $91 MILLION apartment development on the city's southern fringe will be re-launched onto the market next month.
The AIR apartments on the park project, at the old ETSA building at 220 Greenhill Rd, Eastwood, is being developed by The Pickard Group. More than 60 per cent of the 140-apartment project has sold and the remaining apartments will be re-released from September 5.
Project manager Wayne Fazzalari said sales had been suspended since mid-2004.
"We have held it off the market until next month's re-launch and until the project was completed," he said.
Monica Samra will be among the first to move into the complex, having bought a three-bedroom apartment on the sixth floor.
"I wanted to downsize and not to worry about a garden and maintenance," she said yesterday.
"The facilities the building offers are a key attraction. Apart from being an apartment, you can still enjoy outdoor activities without leaving the house."
The 12-storey development features 140 apartments, including seven penthouses with views over the city, Victoria Park racecourse, the parklands and the Hills.
Prices range from the mid $300,000s up to $3 million with sizes ranging from 78sq m to 388sq m including balconies. The apartment development has three swimming pools, a tennis court, a barbecue area, a 20-seat private movie theatre, gymnasium, spa, sauna and an in-house restaurant.
The project is being sold by Brock Harcourts. Brock Urban Projects Built Form manager Tony Mathews said the complex offered the latest in technology and luxury.
"The apartments are without question the best apartments ever built in South Australia," he said.
