The northern crane has risen. Spent a while wandering the place yesterday, guess who didn't have a camera...

nice update mate. I dont know if its the zoom factor or what, but in that third shot you've successfully made Waymouth St appear like Wall St lol

Thanks Adelarch. A bit of zoom there but not too much I just like that angle for taking pics of CC1, done it a few times in the past and it is a fairly dense perspective of Adelaide.

Yeah, I got excited thinking that we were getting orange/coppery cladding but went for a closer walk and saw that it was the pre-cladding.
I'm still expecting them to pull something out of their arse to make this building look different from the render.

When the 17 storey (subject to change yadayada) tower south of this one goes up, you'll be hard pressed to see the Santos building from the tram station in Vic Square. That's cool.

Are you talking about City Central Tower 4 or City Central Tower 7?

I'm talking about the one proposed to be built closest to the southern side of CC1. It has long been mooted as 17 levels, but knowing how dynamic this project has been it's probably been revised again.
I see on Emporis you updated it to reflect a 20 storey building, what's your source for that? If it's the same building i'm talking about, then it'll definitely block out the view of Santos from the tram station. Tops.
