I actually laughed out loud at that.

It looks as though they are getting ready to start putting up the frame for the western curtain-glass wall soon. They are installing some equipment on the southern portion of the western facade to be able to start construction of this feature I reckon.

Here is an image of what the building will look like on the inside. Courtesy of Hansen Yuncken:

Oh, I do love the dark floor and wall treatments combined with the use of timber. Very Scandinavian.

One question though; any idea what the white material will be on the curved roof/wall feature?

That is disgusting .. you right it is a scandinavian look but more suited to an IKEA store dining area.

You gotta be kidding me right .. I love wood and the use of wood, but this makes me totally change my mind .. looks like something Mike Brady would have knocked up for Alice and Sam's house.

I think that it will turn out much nicer than it looks on first sight in that render, for the render is particularly bad.

Considering that the picture is a frankenstien render of a three dimensional space, I'm hoping that the real thing will work better. The render is all contrast with no harmony - right now it just looks like an architect's masturbatory emmision.

Also I can see Jesus in the wood grain on the right. Will Catholics flock to the site?

I feel that the photo-render that I have recently posted has caused much angst and worry in the forum. I would like to take this opportunity to clarify that the above photo-render is of the cafeteria on the ground floor, and such décor will not be employed for the rest of the edifice.

In that case I will reserve judgement on the rest of the interior .. but I still feel from the pic provided it needs a small wooden sauna in the corner somewhere ..
