Just to out do you. Live 5 mins form train station, 3 mins to go-zone and 5 mins to tram which i can soon catch to the portNorman wrote:I live 3 minutes from a Go Zone and 7 minutes from a train station with a 20-30 Minute FrequencyCruise wrote:Well i live 5 minutes from a train station that has 15 minute weekday frequencies beat thatNorman wrote:No... they don't even have better PT up there than over here in Marion. And here the house prices here are about 1/6th of that.
Re: Burnside's "Sandcastle"
To out do you, I live less than a minute from the tram, 2 minutes to a bus go-zone, and 5 minutes to a train. PT is really fantastic in my area, and I love it.
Re: Burnside's "Sandcastle"
there's a guy in my suburb who lives at the train station. He beats you all - 0 (zero) minutes to get there! although i doubt he catches the train much...
[edit] dang! just realised that i contributed to converting a story about a house into another PT discussion. sigh.

Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

Back on topic, there seems to be quite a mention to the North of Hallett Cove on Perry Bar Road. Might have to photograph it sometime.

Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

You should have made better use of the time spent standing about in Hindmarsh Square as your excretions cascaded into Pirie Street. Poor time-management skills - points away!monotonehell wrote:My job has curtailed my efforts toward project OBahn Dance. It's on the back burner.Omicron wrote:Motion seconded.Cruise wrote:

Mants wrote:the sandcastle is a part of "burnside estate", and is probably amongst the most luxurious homes in adelaide. it's on ifould drive, burnside. beat me to it omni!
i was actually up at ifould drive a couple of days ago checking out a house.
really, for the expected price, it was pretty average. you could get something twice as nice in the suburbs across the gully (beaumont, glen osmond, st georges) i suppose people will pay anything to be considered amongst adelaide's wealthiest!
would you pay $2million for this?

LOL Mants mate are you calling beaumont, glen osmond, st georges the suburbs All those place are premium address aswell anything in the east/south east is lol I reckon beaumont is actually nicer than burnside because it elevated and more into the foothills
But anyway thanks guys for telling me of the sandcastle lol i never expected an actual address maybe just one reply like 'oh yeah i think i seen a place that looks like a sandcastle' but lol maybe in my free time I'll have a peek and just imagine 'ahhh what if.........' :wank:

If they are not suburbs, what are they?
as far as i'm concered a premimum address must have atleast a swimming pool, 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, no matter where they are.

I just interpreted 'the suburbs' as being typical suburban area thats all but those suburbs aren't average when it come to land size, sticker prices etc

I'm positive the inhabitants of Ifould Drv couldn't give a rats tossbag about PT. In fact, I'm sure they'd prefer the 'peoples buses' didn't come remotely close to their homes at all.
Re: Burnside's "Sandcastle"
um, of course they are suburbs, what else could they possibly be?Maximus_Marc wrote:LOL Mants mate are you calling beaumont, glen osmond, st georges the suburbs All those place are premium address aswell anything in the east/south east is lol I reckon beaumont is actually nicer than burnside because it elevated and more into the foothills
id like to see a bus attempt to enter ifould drive as it is a cul-de-sacJust build it wrote:I'm positive the inhabitants of Ifould Drv couldn't give a rats tossbag about PT. In fact, I'm sure they'd prefer the 'peoples buses' didn't come remotely close to their homes at all.

Re: Burnside's "Sandcastle"
fairly sure the guy who started the cunninghams warehouse thingy years ago where copies of albums were sold for cheap marked "unauthorised" to try and avoid copy right laws owned this building.
made a fortune!
but eventually the law came back and took all his cash bounty, for a while there it remained unfinished in one of adelaides, most prestegeous suburbs and has a magnificent view of adelaide city. finished in sandstone (or look a like) was the basis for much media hype regarding the liquidation of assests and was dubbed the "sandsastle."
feel free to correct me if i'm wrong - what i heared...
