Went for a cruise today down to the various building sites around the Hills Industries development. I doubt very much those crane sections are for this site. More likely they are just there for temporary storage for one of the other sites across the road (most probaby the Kyren development which has steelwork going up).

Why would it be ridiculous? Can you see the Samaras name there? It's possible they have negotiated something. Theo Samaras obviously did some kind of deal.

yeh its an engineering company that is constructing the foundations and basement levels... nothing to do with the development accros the road. You obviously do not know how competitive the devlopment industry is.

The sections are for a crawler crane to drop the cages in... you need the lenght in the boom. Its far more cost effective to use this rather that a wheel based mobile crane, less set up etc
