I'm adding more information for my CBD Excel list, and just wondering what the stats are with these two. I need them to be compiled as individual projects, and not as the whole.
Cheers.
Edge has 4944sqm2 of office space whereas Wave has 8 apartments
Will thanks for the information on Azucar, North Terrace and here. Just wondering with Wave
only having 8 apartments have you any details ? Like are they big or only on the top floor of
the development etc ? Just seems a very small number unless they are doing them " properly "

Hi folks, I got a mate working on these and he said they really struggling to get the steel workers .. the guys that do the tieing of the steel etc. (something along those lines .. I'm not up with the lingo) .. they in very short supply or charging ridiculous prices as there are so many projects going on (both here and interstate!). He has heard of other projects flying guys in from Vic on the weekends to help.
The building boom is fantastic, but its a shame not enough workers!

It's the same issue across the entire construction industry at the moment. Lots of projects planned in the pipeline in both the property and infrastructure sectors. Lots of firms demanding workers in the construction industry, lots of demand from the public to get these projects done as quickly as possible, but very few people willing to do it! There's significant shortages in tradespeople, engineers and steel workers all over the country, although it's worse in other states. That's constraining our country's productive capacity quite a bit. Hopefully either we'll be able to gather workers internationally or find new ways of constructing these buildings that reduces our dependance on the need for construction workers some time in the future.

Crane is going up as we speak.
Drove past just after 7:30 this morning and the first tower sections were just being delivered.

No. 8 in the CBD - fantastic! Althought one we crane over the whole project does not seem enough. Saw 4 on ONE bldg in Bris.CBD yesterday on roughly the same area/plate configuration - we need 'em!.

Awesome! Thanks Ben.
How's about an hour by hour update?
Me thinks a Liebherr hammerhead, identical to the one on Lot 8 Coglin.

Is it possible that because the two buildings share the same podium, that only one crane would be used for this stage, and then when the time comes for the seperate construction of the two towers occur, they'll bring in another crane?

Crikey! You guys are quick. Mind you, I was in bed until about 3 this afternoon.
Was walking down to the supermarket on Gilbert Street this afternoon with the girlfriend and she suddenly squealed with excitement upon seeing the crane podium. I was all embarrassed and proud at the same time!
Would've taken some photos for you, but seems I'm a bit slow...

You're = you are; your = belongs to.
Than = comparative ("bigger than"); then = next.

Not all up yet. But getting there, cabin up this morning. This one really stands out along parts of Greenhill Road as you would expect. Pic taken this morning near the South Tce tram stop:
