The timetable update is a super hack job though, its in a "hybrid" old and new style.. Typical crap job done by transadelaide:

That is SHOCKING :wank:

Check out the Routemap...

There is no Mega Go Zone to the Airport anymore...

C'mon TransAdelaide, surely your resources aren't that stretched that you can't make a new timetable to the new format! That is pathetic. As an additional minor gripe, the route map doesn't show the station as having moved any closer to the level crossing and instead is still in it's previous position.

Why didn't they go to the same style as the gawler line timetable?

These photos are a bit outdated (30 June) but show the station in operation.

But first, an update:
Bike Lockers now in operation. Do note that these are the ones from the old station.

Cheers Norm.

Having been through the station twice recently, I am overwhelmingly impressed with the lighting of the structure by night-time. It really improves visibility and safety in the area. I definetly believe that this is the standard that all hi-frequency stations should be up to - and I will be curious to see how the Parafield makeover turns out, whether thats an appropriate standard for the rest of the networks stations.

You should remove the watermark then add licence details to your site so that they can be nabbed and used on wikipedia :-)

I still do want the credit for the photos. But watermarked they can be used anywhere. I've had issues of people stealing my work without permission, including News.com.au, where they stole a few videos off my YouTube channel.

Fair enough.. For wikipedia they would have to have the watermark removed and an appropriate free licence.

Totally agree mate. I was just driving past last night after a movie at Marion and the illumination of the station really stood out. My girlfriend even commented "All the train stations should look like that"

The lighting is particularly impressive in those pics - puts Adelaide central to shame.

Question - do ANY suburban trains go over 3 units in length? Is the length governed by frequency cutting out the need or is it controlled by platform length.

Even when I was in Adelaide they occasionally ran 5 coaches together.Would you believe they ONCE they ran 7 coach trains to Largs - have piccies to prove it. As yet i have yet to learn how to put them on this site with the current computer - almost totally full.
