Also if Thomson playford can take thiers down you would think they could put theres up? Who knows... maybe there is more to the story..UrbanSG wrote:This crane must have a voodoo on it or something If wind was the reason it did not go up, good luck next weekend as it is forecast to be windy again. It is winter after all. Maybe they should try overnight one night this week.

i hear that problems were experienced in erecting the crane.... a cracked section on the jib as a result of rigging errors....

No boom on this crane as yet, however the jumpform has risen, and the corebox now sits at level 2.

Yeap still no action with the crane. You can just see the core box on the right of this photo. Sorry a very quick effort.

Crane Update:
Just got this email from the building super about Auora next door. So back a picnic and have it in the square on Sat...
Morning all
Can you please inform all car park users that this Saturday 26/7 next door will be installing there overhead crane and there will be restricted access.
Access will be granted if needed but if there is something overhead they will stop all access until safe to continue movement.
If the whether on sat 26/7 is bad the lift may have to be put forward to Sun 27/7 causing the same inconvenience.
Sorry for this but nothing we can do.

Sorry to mention this, but that email contains some shocking spelling. It is sad that a building supervisor spells like that.leaper wrote:Crane Update:
