Scuse the dodgy quality but I got this one from the South Parklands bike path. Different angle, shows how much this one is obvious from Greenhill road.

Is that another hammerhead low in the centre skyline in the pic? Is this on Googer St?

You crane people should really get out and about a bit. The hammerhead for Wave and Edge is already in place and the special hammerhead for Hills is due in next few weeks. It has to fit below Adelaide Airport height limits! Let's not go into the intricacies of that in Adelaide! It's worth a whole website on its own. We seem to be the only major city with such restrictions. In the meantime H&Y have been appointed to undertake both projects, as well as Hills across the road.
Yes these projects are really happening. Of special note is that all of these projects and the Rydges CML Hotel project at 45 King William Street are all designed by JPE.

You get quite a nice shot from the South Parklands. It's a nice ride on my bike too.UrbanSG wrote:Another pic from cruel_world00's angle in the south parklands, taken today:

There is quite a lot of reinforcing steel for the vertical columns that are being installed already. Some column formwork for the first 2 levels near KWS.
This is a fast building, considering the large floor area they need to work with.

Believe it or not Wave and Edge are actually being built and are due for completion in October and September respectively next year.
JPE are moving into the Wave and taking around 1 1/2 floors. An high class Italian restaurant is planned for the ground floor.

Is the empty corner building part of this development?
