Great shots Pants 8)

Noticed last week or week b4 that one glass panel on left hand side of Waymouth st frontage had been smashed, about 4 levels up or so. Probably concrete pour bucket bumped into it on way up.

Pants those pics are excellent. Is it just me or are they taking the Waymouth Street crane on CC1 down today? On the ABC Skyline Cam it looks like it is comming down. It is hard to tell though with not much detail from the cam. I suppose it would be comming down soon. Shame, loved having the two cranes up. Has anyone been into the city today and confirm or deny this crane situation?

Yep, the Nothern crane is on the way down. I wouldn't expect the southern one to be there too much longer either. Apart from some glazing, cladding, stairs and the roof structure, there isn't much more of a need for the crane.

Any money the M380D (the one being removed now) will end up at CC2. This crane had been in that precinct for a while, It was the 'Tiser crane as well.

Few months ago I guessed they'd be comin down around the end of June. *sheds tear* they were great while they were up there, but when Bentham comes up we should have two more :)

So Pikey, that northern crane is exactly the same one that did the advertiser? I'm certainly no expert on crane types but the boom looks a little shorter?

The cabin has the same serial numbers, and I'm not 100% sure but the boom was 46m on the tiser job, which looks about right for this one. The other 1500D at CC1 has a 55m boom.

And I'd only expect one crane for Bentham, due to the small floorplates and site size. More than likely the same type of crane that is currently being used to demolish the Old 'tiser building would be used. If Built Environs get the job, I'd almost guarantee it.

No worries mate thanks for clearing that up. Was hoping that Bentham/Spire would have 2 cranes but yeah, given the pretty trim nature of the building, one will prolly be enough.

The Northern crane should be bye bye by the end of this weekend. A major section of Waymouth is blocked off, and there is one huge fuck off mobille crane parked just off the freewat, which I presume is for the removal job.

Great to see this one near completion now. The building is just about complete structurally and the glass is nearing the top.

Advertiser Building seems to have been completely covered by scaffolding since I left and returned.

Yep, and if you have a close look you'll see three or so digers at the top.

All CC1 needs is glazing, stairs, plantroom, etc and she'll be externally done and dusted. Should look great once the glass cops a good clean

Not a good day for photos at all weatherwise. Here is a very poor quality one I took, good to get a pic of what it looks like in the drizzle :D Only the southern crane left now.

Yes I agree with Howie, great photos Adam, and thanks for keeping us up to date with the developments in the CBD!

By the way CCT1 looks great from the Truscotts carpark!
