My pics are at
http://www.xaragmata.thebbs.org/album/a ... index.html and you can see how the new section is
being built to the north of the existing (vacant) Toyworld. An internal connection is being built to the existing mall through Toyworld,
to connect where Table 8 now is.
Not much has changed since I was there last.
Thanks for the photos though!

Expansion is due to open Monday 8th December - workers were doing pavers and signage today.

Thanks mate, it's strange though to see the old Woolies signage has been put up. Where is the new logo?
EDIT: Found it, but why does it have both?

It's being phased in at the moment, not sure when the rollout will be in full swing though.

I don't know why they have the old signage. The new logos on the northern end had been unwrapped today, and look
much better, to me. Never liked the existing version - almost as cheap looking as Bi Lo. Car park was near full.

They will struggle to have it all finished by monday IMO.
It was delayed by a week as well, but that was sorted out a month ago.
There is about 10 empty shops in the new extention. Not a good thing. Plus quite a few empty shops throughout the centre.
Ifs its anything like the last stage you should be able to pick up a few bargains on the opening day.

Very bizarre to see they have the new Woolworths logo on one side and the old one on the front entrance!
Gives the impression that they're very disorganised and confused! Hopefully that will change soon though.
Reminds me, last time I was there (about a week ago) they had the new Harbourtown logo on the new entrance, but still the old one on the 2 existing entrances.
Hopefully that will change too but how bad would it be if they don't! We'd end up with 2 different harbourtown logos and 2 different Woolworths logos on display!

According to the announcement on 22 August, all new stores as of that date were to use the new logo, and all existing stores would change over as they were refurbished (which all Woolworths supermarkets are in the process of being).
Stores already refurbished before 22 August were supposed to get the new signage "over the coming months".
I actually expected the rollout to be pretty much complete by now, but then again they still haven't changed the signage on any of the Big W or Dick Smith stores in SA as far as I have seen, and these brands had new logos quite some time ago.

Just had a look at Harbourtowns website. Big annoucement which reads
"Harbour Town's latest extension is set to open early next month.
The Centre will boast an even more diverse product offering with Woolworths and over 20 new outlet stores."
So obviously they can't even keep their website up to date because I'm quite sure it's not opening in January by the look of it!

At least people won't confuse it with Go-Lo now! How Go-Lo got away with their logo and slogan I'll never know!

They looked ready to alter the southern entrance signage today, with temp fencing & cherry picker about to do
something there.

I noticed a few in the existing section closed or in the process of closing, & not necessarily to move into the new part.
