The glass is simply sensational. Furthermore I love how this building has managed to frame Hindmarsh Square. It should serve as a reminder to the ACC not to fear taller buildings around our squares, particularly those in the upper half of the CBD.

On an aside, this building simply cannot be 62m. Unless its an extreme optical illusion, I am quite confident that this building is 68m.

Although I have documents which say it is 61.9m tall, I also know that Wyatt House is 72m, yet for the best of my ability Wyatt House does not appear 10m taller.

Wyatt House is round topped and setback from the street while the Conservatory is boxy and built to the footpath (as well as covered with a cage of scaffolding) -- I think your theory of an optical illusion is true.

It has to be 68m, just has to be.
Look at Wyatt House - 72m, Myer Centre - 74m, Education Dept. - 70m.

Fun fact: If Conservatory on Hindmarsh was three times taller, it still wouldn't be as tall as World Tower in Sydney.

But as far as Adelaide scale is concerned, along with the other building around Hindmarsh Square (when completed), it's definitely going to add some nice urban bulk to the area.

Now I just wish the Eastern side would be completely redeveloped... did someone say landmark tower? Along with more high-rise stretching down Pulteney Street. Who knows what the future holds!

Beautiful building, superb cladding.
This is the type of cladding that Lot 8 should have had!

VERY impressed. Good clear photo of HSQ - true real estate stuff! I want it for the staffroom here in Bris. HSQ looks fantastic. Dare I say it - you can see the Hyde Park effect now. (Pity about the east side).
