saw them painting this the other day, they've painted the length of the platform they had hanging down. They will paint the left hand side when they move the platform across and all the way down to the bottom.

You know it's a real shame that this build has gone so smoothly.

I bet the hacks at the Advertiser have been chomping at the bit to release the headline:

The black paint on the western face is improving that aspect from the blank concrete I thought we'd be living with. I like how they established the plantings early on. One day a while ago I was wondering why the workmen had a large potplant up there... two days later my brain fell into gear.

to be honest, i rather like the north western corner. it's always bustling with people, and there are a few nice restaurants and such. i think the citi centre arcade needs a makeover, but otherwise, that corner doesnt need too much work.

Things must have changed since I've had a proper look around that corner, which is good. In my last post I was really getting at the rather tired and old low bldgs. The Twin St side of those structures need work as well. It all appeared run down to me.

IMO A resi tower with similar functions at ground floor level to what is currently there would be better.
