Surely a bus from Mawson Lakes via Dry Creek, and Cormack Rd Wingfield (to service the thousands of blue collar jobs) to Port Adelaide would be a good idea, and wouldnt break the budget

The concept images of the Onkaparinga bridge and trains at the Noarlunga and Gawler stations are rather exciting.

Good to see from this edition that work will soon begin on the Noarlunga Line upgrade.
There are also some interesting renders here as well, good to see the Bridge over the Onkaparinga but the render of the Noalunga Centre interchange is almost unidentifiable!

They want to transform Noarlunga Centre into another TOD, so I suppose it's an artist's impression of how the station will look in the future.

There has been talk for decades about extending the shopping centre over the station. If you've seen the size of the beams used, you'll realise its overkill for a simple overpass, you could drive trucks over it (actually some contractors do).

We are leading the planning for Noarlunga Regional Centre to be a modern thriving centre of at least 10,000 residents and workers. This will be centred on a rail/transit station and spanning east to the Expressway, south to Honeypot Rd, west to Bice Oval and north towards Christie Downs. The core of the TOD – roughly within a 400m walking radius from the station, will be developed as a high intensity mixed-use area. The area west of collonades (behind bunnings) is already being developed by the housing trust.
Its VERY high density townhouses (Pretty much the highest density possible for individual townhouses), and is looking like a future ghetto.
