I think it's amazing that this building has windows fronting a property boundary!

And yet the entire northern facade of Wave facing the street is concrete. I haven't brought this up as i keep forgetting but it looks terrible and i can't think of any reason or any other building who who concrete up the entire street facing side!!! I will have to get a picture to show you guys but you will no doubt be less then impressed. Will wrote:I think it's amazing that this building has windows fronting a property boundary!

I was confused - you're not allowed to have a glass face fronting a property bounding!
You can see in Ben's photos that the southern façade is set back by about 1m and only the 'podium' fronts the property boundary. If a building is ever built on the south, there'll therefore be a gap. Naturally the developers aren't particularly worried about the prospect of a tower next door, because that's probably not something that we'll see any time soon!

I must say this one is turning out a lot better than I expected. I'm loving the rust effect.

Even though winters my favorite season everything always looks so drab when it's overcast.
I like what this building has done for the streetscape even more than I like the building itself. Total transformation in feel down there.

Me too! BTW anyone heard any more of the proposed block to the west next to the Brecknock? Shown as a shadow in the old Hills block.

Really love how they have addressed the scale of the neighboring townhouses.
Really hope it turns out like this.
