There's still only one Tower Crane at Adelaide Oval. There is a second smaller crawler crane though.

So to question what the Professor wrote about the air con system in the former bank building, would it have been more benficial for the building to be built with the long side facing Hindley Street? Just a random question but had to ask.
Also, isn't that the building with the gift shop downstairs and a hotel now taking up the higher levels? I had no idea it used to be a bank and was so thin

yeah they are still busy doing the foundations. There are quite a lot of workers on this so I think it will start to shoot up like a rocket fairly soon

The foundation stuff is in for the taller tower now, so it should go up soon.

The columns are coming up out of the ground now and several at the back of the site are as high as the second level. Looking a fast construction

Should really see it start to crank along once the complicated footing system is done.

Columns and walls are all precast, and floor is post tensioned, making for a quick cycle.

looking foward to seeing this. Tried to get over in Sept holidays. Flight cancelled as we were walking into the plane - Adelaide curfew blamed but visibility here at 150 metres due to dust storm.

Oh nice, this should be up and running in no time. I am very curious to see how these turn out. I have a feeling they may look a fair bit better than the renders, as the renders have been pretty primative.
