Petty much? it's externally complete and the fitouts have commenced with the combined Powerstate/Satisfac credit Union moving in on November 23.

i have heard around our office that we may be moving into this building, which makes a bit of sense. The company i work for just got bought out by a Canadian company, and they have been looking at making some pretty big changes.

I thought we had resolved this issue months ago.
A building is complete once it is fit for human habitation. The fact that there is still work to do inside suggests that it is still U/C

Only the office spaces are being fitted out. A lot of the apartments are already occupied.rhino wrote:The why is the Conservatory thread titled COM? It's still being fitted out. Will wrote:I thought we had resolved this issue months ago.

Anyone got any recent pics of the completed exterior. Can't get over to Adelaide for at least a month yet - too hard to wait that long to see what is happening there you understand!

Received a notice along with my bank statement today announcing that Satisfac's newly located office in this building will be accessible from the 7th December.

I noticed last night that at least one of the floors as commenced a fit out. Unfortunately, I think this building is going to get ruined - as businesses run dividing walls and bookcases right up against the glass windows. That one floor already looks quite ugly.

Just to clarify: The ground level of this is just going to be offices, isn't it? Not retail. Shame.

No it is cafes and a bank branch.AtD wrote:Just to clarify: The ground level of this is just going to be offices, isn't it? Not retail. Shame.

Well that's not bad then. I was under the impression it was going to be just more offices and meeting rooms with zero street level interaction, or am I confusing this with Edge up the road?

Excellent - would be strongly needed by the 10 floors of workers above.Ben wrote:No it is cafes and a bank branch.AtD wrote:Just to clarify: The ground level of this is just going to be offices, isn't it? Not retail. Shame.
BTW - anyone have any recent photos of this?

This building must be nearing completion, most nights each week (including over weekends) one or two entire floors are lit up (you can count hundreds of fluoro lights on each floor) for presumably interior fitout.
What's funny is that externally not much has been happening for weeks. They basically finished all the blue glass except for one square near the middle of the building (facing KWS) and on or near the top floor. This gap was there for a week or two and has now been filled with some sort of makeshift 'bluish material' that is still different from the rest of the windows. Not sure if they ran short on a glass panel or one was damaged - certainly hope they can get a replacement panel because it looks a bit funny as is.
