I am an anti-Honda guy, even to the point of considering S2000. NSX is however, exempted
Is she after a late model car? With that amount of money, I would get an Audi A4, one of my favourite car. With that budget, should be able to get a decent pre year 2000 models.
For realibility, Toyota would be the toughest. Tough as nail.

I think that's the go too, as it'll be used primarily for work purposes it needs to be reliable.

My recommendation.
Otherwise, a late model Suzuki Swift, Honda Jazz, Toyota Corolla. Also Holden Astra but don't know how reliable these are. If she wants something a bit more fun then maybe an S14 200SX... nice match to your R34 and my future 350GT eh?

Stay a mile away from the cheap small Holden hatch. The engine are crap and powerless.

my first car was a 2001 VX Commodore, which i partly paid for, and i spent most of my time saving up for it, but i love it, im hoping to get upgrade to a new model commodore within 2007.
