Will409 this would make a great addition to the wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Trams_in_Adelaide , care to add it to wikimedia commons? If you don't I would be happy to do it for you with your permission.Will409 wrote:Shuz wrote:On the way to work yesterday, they had the H-Class, the Flexity and the Citadis outside the Glengowrie depot, adjacent one another. Would have made a great photo opportunity if I had my camera!

Added the photo to Wikipedia. Currently adding more photos and information to the article as well.

I took these earlier in the week (Monday 15th) but forgot to post!
Re: #U/C: Port Adelaide Tram Line
These trams look purposely configured for AOA's it seems. The 'ends' are chunkier (in form) than the body of the tram, which would make it ideal to whack huge ads on its sides, and leave the ends unchanged for visual recognition.

Re: #U/C: Port Adelaide Tram Line
Considering the usual trams are pretty packed, its not taking passengers. So just the usual officials, engineers or the like.
A post on another forum however.

I understand that the Citadis trams will finally begin to enter service next Monday (28th December).

Re: #U/C: Port Adelaide Tram Line
For those of you who are looking forward to the Citadis trams entering service, a number of us have been advised that there will be a run from Moseley Square to City West and return this Monday (the 28th).
The tram will depart Moseley Square at 17:55, then leave City West at 18:40. These times are correct as I write this.
Thanks to those who have passed on the message, including TransAdelaide, who know that we've been itching to have a ride.
Tuesday will see a morning and afternoon run, and things will develop from there.
Bill.
