An application has been lodged with the council for the demolition and subsequent construction of a mixed use building at 264-266 Flinders Street. The proposed building will be 7 levels, incorporating parking at ground level, offices between levels 2-5, and 3 apartments for the above 2 levels. The development has been designated Category 2, and is expected to cost $1.5 million.

That is rediculously cheap, we've just built Two 3 level town houses and an underground carpark for 2 million (and that isn't anything fancy) 1.5 million for 7 stories is simply utterly and totaly impossible... must be 15 million

At next weeks ACC DAP meeting, the council will grant planning approval for the following:

A 6 level apartment building on vacant land at 135 South Terrace (close to O'Halloran Street). The building will contain 16 apartments, and 20 car-parks on the ground floor. The building will reach the maximum permittable height of 21m.

Anyone see or able to post the render of the new Channel 10 studio to be built in Hutt St. It is in the current edition of the Adelaide review. Looks really nice.

Yep, seen it and it's not bad. I can scan it, but I have nowhere to post the image. :(

Cheers

29 King William Street. Render below for those who may have forgotten about this one. Very slow progress, PropertyLook.com.au has it ready for occupation 1 March 2007, not sure how reliable that is. Still another 2 floors to add, although it is hard to tell with all the covers. Pic from today:

At the ACC DAP meeting next week the council will approve a development application for a block of land at 22A Moger Lane and 21-23 Tam O'Shanter Place.

The development will be known as 'AZUCAR' which is Spanish for sugar.

The building will be 11 levels tall, and will contain 17 apartments.

The building will rise to a height of 28.9m, and it will contain 3 car-parks. The building will be 18.3m wide and 13.4m long and it will contain 1 elevator and 1 stairwell.

The building will be directly behind the Domain Apartments on Grenfell Street. Domain Apartments are 23m tall, so this building will be slightly more prominent.
