dont forget Hutt St. It has many eateries nowadays. And ofcourse Glenelg at either the marina pier or Jetty Rd. And also Norwood Parade

Australia's home grown football code is called AFL (Australian Football League). South Australia has 2 teams in the premier league - Here's the 2010 game schedule (Look for games at AAMI Stadium)

You can catch a shuttle bus from the city direct to/from the game.
