Is it just me or has the forum gone crazy this week?

I can't wait until Sunday when it's all over.

lots of smoke coming from the Adelaide Hills today!
Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work.

It was a burn-off in Cleland Conservation Park, quite the smoke plume.

I wish Adelaide Metro would hurry up and introduce a Iphone application, its meant to be the in process of being developed and should be released sometime this year.

Its annoying you can't download their Nomad timetable system on the Iphone.

You don't need it. All the Adelaide Metro timetables are integrated with Google Maps. Work's great on an iPhone.

What are you getting this year?
For starters, my avatar is the well-known Adelaide Aquatic Centre insignia from 1989.

I didn't know the Easter Bunny had turned into a pseudo-Santa... Do kids "get" things these days?

There's a couple of shots on the SA Memory website: http://www.samemory.sa.gov.au/site/page.cfm?u=235

Another step towards improving Adelaide laneways...

From ABC Online:
Don Lane may soon join Lois Lane and Cleo Lane (as in Laine) in Adelaide!

Continuing a strange tradition, a service lane in Adelaide might soon be named after the late entertainer Don Lane.

Adelaide City Council has agreed to consider the suggestion from city residents near the lane, which is off Charlotte Street near South Terrace.

Councillor Anne Moran says the idea is stupid and it should be named after someone local.

But Councillor Michael Henningsen says Adelaide already has a Lois Lane at North Adelaide and a Cleo Lane (after entertainer Cleo Laine) in the city.

"These residents are just tired of having a street with no name basically," he said.

"So just a bit of tongue-in-cheek stuff that says to us that 'We don't always take ourselves very seriously'."
