I think this is right next door to the Lakes hotel. They cleared the land last year for this project. Looks like another quality development for West Lakes.

Yeah to give an idea Lakes Hotel is 141 Brebner, this one is 145 and Infinity is 155.
So yeah this would be next door to Lakes Hotel.

I reckon this will go ahead........its not that tall and the block is
already empty, so the developers would want to make the
most of the land........
I like it.......that area there is building up nicely !!

It's located between the Lakes Hotel (great bar there) and a chinese restaurant - 10 doors down from Infinity.
That is definitely a "unique" place to build it!

$75m complex at Lakes
Article from: The Advertiser
RHIANNON HOYLE
September 24, 2007 02:15am
DEVELOPER Hardel Property Holdings has cemented its presence in Adelaide by announcing it will build a $75 million apartment complex on West Lakes waterfront.
The West Lakes Collection is the developer's second in Adelaide, a market about which company chairman Peter Harris is confident.
The group also completed a townhouse development on Charles St, Unley.
The development has received final approval from Charles Sturt Council's development assessment panel.
Mr Harris said the complex would include 65 apartments in two eight-storey towers. Construction should begin early in the new year and would take about two years.
"When you consider defence manufacturing contracts in the western suburbs, the mining boom that is occurring and not solely isolated to the well-promoted Olympic Dam mine.
"And there is a battalion of the armed forces being established in Adelaide, regional status for immigration and a re-booting of the viticulture sector, property demand and prices are going to continue to grow," Mr Harris said.
The complex will be built on the West Lakes waterfront, backing on to Brebner Drive.
