Still a few BPs around the place. BP on Glen Osmond Road, for instance.

They'll be getting fuel from Mobil - as there are some long term contracts which still have to be adhered to.

On The Run have not 'taken over' any BPs. They have an agreement with BP to sell their fuel and use their branding. There are some On The Runs which do not have any BP branding on them and only have a sort of beige and red colour scheme, I believe there is one near Munno Para on Main North Road like this.

I would assume that this is the branding they will go with in the ex-Mobil sites as BP would not allow their branding with Mobil fuel in the ground. (not that it makes much difference as all the normal unleaded in Adelaide comes off the same ship...)

I remember when a few Mobil service stations closed completely and were demolished!
The one next to Clovercrest Plaza has been replaced with 2 shops (Autopro & Browse In & Save).
Others were replaced by new service stations under a different name.
How many Mobils around SA have been demolished?

The current outdated Mobil petrol station on the corner of Henley Beach & Holbrooks Road is a prefect location for a 24/7 BP On The Run.

I've been to a 7-11 in Victoria last year!
Does this mean that Mobil is leaving Australia?!
The first car that I rode in is a 1980s Mistubishi TM Series Magna GLX that probably ran on leaded petrol. I used to stop at Golden Grove Mobil, which is now a Liberty.

I live close to it, & it would be perfect, but a better long term solution would be a realignment of Holbrooks & Marion Rds, with a new, bigger site opposite Red Rooster / KFC, or perhaps on the KFC site (IMO).
