#1 Post by Hindley Street Alley » Mon Aug 23, 2010 12:33 pm

Hi I just read this:

http://illuminatedtraveller.com/2010/08 ... -adelaide/

It appears the guys is from Melbourne and had fun in Adelaide.

Just a note - I found out about this through Twitter when @adelaidetweet retweeted his short post with the above link (as he'd tagged the post with #adelaide). Btw his Twitter name is @AdamAxon

This is something I've heard from several visitors to Adelaide...
The first thing that strikes you about Adelaide is how “breathable” it is. Wide open streets, intelligently integrated parks and a modestly sized skyline creates a very pleasant city, especially on warm sunny days!
Especially friends from the US. They also positively comment on the number of trees, even in the suburbs.

(He does accidentally mention that the Zoo is free. Whoops.)
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

British actor Simon Pegg of Shaun of the Dead fame (had roles in Mission Impossible 3 and Star Trek to name a couple of others) has tweeted of his fond memories of Adelaide.

"My heart belongs to Adelaide. Fond memories of fun in the park at the top of Rundle Street. Coopers Ale and country hospitality. Ripper! "
