Hard to say - I would be guessing they might be leaving the roof off directly above the trains until electrification, otherwise the jumbos will blacken themrhino wrote:So many purlins, so little canopy. Is it really finished, or just ready for use?
The trains themselves will be sufficiently waterproof to not require a roof even after electrification. The point is the canopy doesn't extend all the way along the platform. I'm guessing it's just ready for use, but it might have something to do with the current lack of platform length trains.muzzamo wrote:Hard to say - I would be guessing they might be leaving the roof off directly above the trains until electrification, otherwise the jumbos will blacken themrhino wrote:So many purlins, so little canopy.
