this is crazy... I can't believe it, it's what i've always wanted... a tall elegant building and a hot sister with some nice curves.

Ah right. It's odd that they've replaced it with... nothing. Maybe it's an oversight in the render?
The 3rd photo on page 1 appears to be looking north towards Franklin St between the new curved building and the taller one to the left. Therefore, my guess is that the glass covered walkway will extend east to Vic Sq and the old building will be removed.

I do like the concept of creting new pedestrian links through some of our larger 'blocks' however I am not sure whether it should be at the cost of that particular building. Will have to wait and see how things progress.

Tbh, I'd just be happy to have confidence that Aurora's Tower 2 was going to be built anytime soon. :?

I find it difficult to accept those renders as being anything more than 'pie-in-the-sky' but yeah, they're cool.

My thoughts exactly.

I'm actually kind of scared to feel attached to this building after the past dismissals and failures. I don't want my heart broken again :(

This is not even a development that's been submitted to the ACC/DAP. Why get attached at all?

Reminds me a bit of the Westpac headquarters in Sydney:

looks awesome, starting to look like adelaide are going to making real progress over the next decade, with this, the riverside, and the victoria square redevelopment. really, what more could we reasonably ask for?
