Am I right that all pedestrian/road crossings will be grade separated along this new stretch of rail?

Also, is there a decent detailed plan of the rail line close to the Seaford shopping centre (even the whole route?) It must be a first (maybe done 70/80 years ago though I dont know) in this state of laying new track work after the surrounding area has been pretty much developed. 8)

If it goes well. An extension of the Obahn to Golden Grove surely must be the next step! :cheers:

If the Seaford extension proves successful geographically and economically, then the next step should be conversion of the O-Bahn to rail. This can then be connected to Adelaide Railway Station via an underground link.

Care to explain the logic missing from your statement? What factors about the Seaford extension can be applied to the OBahn to support your assertion?

Actually having the Obahn converted to rail (light or heavy) would make it quicker to change from one to the other.

At the moment we have a few meters walk to go from tram to train, but two blocks to go from train to Obahn, and quite a walk from a King William Street tram stop to the nearest Obahn stop.

The next person to suggest converting the O-Bahn to rail is going to be sent to Guantanamo Bay, where their only comfort will be the knowledge that the continuous thoughtless suggestions to convert the O-Bahn to light rail is only slightly less irritating than the water torture they will be enduring.

I noticed in the video the building with all the tracks going into it nearby Seaford Meadows station... I'm assuming they're building another place where the trains can go to sleep at night?

I decided to look into this with a bit more research and see how those who will be effected by this feel if they ever had to be in this situation.

As you can see, diesals will be rather pissed off but tank engines should be fine. However, I'm not sure how the electric ones will feel though as I wasn't able to get in contact with them. The fatass controller was greedy and needed them
