Random fact:
Did you know, more international bands are going to Adelaide rather then Perth due to the GFC. I can see it through these examples:
- US Metal band For Today are touring Australia and going from Melbourne to Adelaide (and doing a show in Mount Gambier suprisingly) but they're not going to Perth.
- No Sleep till Adelaide had twice as many bands then No Sleep till Perth.
- Metallica did 2 shows in Adelaide and only 1 in Perth.

So next time you hear someone say "wawaawaaa no bands ever come to Adelaide" just remind them "it could be worse, it could be Perth"

I thought they were building a big new arena for their city, maybe more will visit once it opens.

at "the New Underground" on light square, an amazing old school looking venue level 2 next to Black Market. It's a bit of an oxymoron as it's called the Underground but it's got a nice view overlooking the city.
