Hahaha the front looks like a zipper, that's all I can think now when I see it.

From The City Messenger:
Kyren project manager Kon Corolis said the carpark extension would begin by the end of the year, with work on the office and apartments starting mid next year.
I realllly want to be positive, but my suspicious streak is activated by the extract above.
"Car park to be built immediately. We might get around to building the tower later... maybe."
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

Same.

Though I suppose at least in this instance it's an existing (and fairly decrepit) carpark being tarted up, rather than a completely new one being built.

Should see some action on site soon. Hopefully it won't stay an empty plot for too long as Franklin street has almost entirely been demolished.

Franklin Street appears to be undergoing a similar process that occured along Waymouth Street in the early 80's. At this time Waymouth Street had a whole lot of buildings demolished and left as open car parks (northern side) and then a whole lot of office buildings went up around the mid-80's.

The rules are a bit stricter now regarding open lot car parks but still a similar process is occuring and often parking is still allowed. Once they've finished the expanded Young Street car park they are meant to start on the soon to be demolished building site. Hopefully this occurs as soon as possible after the car park is completed.

On my morning stroll this morning I noticed that the empty garden furniture shop on this site was being demolished by All State Demolition. A giant excavator was attacking the back of the shop from the vacant lot next door.

the DAP site and ACC site just keeps crashing for me- what does the request actually entail? just a bigger carpark and hopefully a building out front?

Second level has now been closed off and building has commenced on the car park. Quite a number of concrete blocks and steel pylons have already gone up.
