Wedding Anniversary Ideas
Wedding Anniversary Ideas
wow! I've been married for 14 years in late-January. The anniversary gift for 14 years is Ivory (traditional) or Gold (modern). My wife and myself have quite frugal buying habits, we much prefer to spend cash on fun social activities (e.g. nice restaurants, pubs/clubs, live music bands, wineries, weekends away, party with friends, etc) rather than simply gathering more material possessions.
So I need your help pls: What could i give as a gift that relates to "Adelaide & Ivory" OR "Adelaide & Gold"?

yeah, my wife would surely love it - "let's go for a sunday drive, only 900km round trip"rev wrote:Adelaide & Gold?....a tour of Olympic Dam?
The Adelaide beaches are part of the Fleurieu's "Ivory Coastline" - maybe some idea is lurking in there?
Or perhaps someone knows of a restaurant with a "gold" or "ivory" theme?

The phrase "white elephant" came to mind when you first posted this. But I can't think of anything suitable.
Exit on the right in the direction of travel.

I hired a beach house for a weekend (Silver Sands) which is part of Adelaide's ivory coast, and gave her a piece of gold jewelery (antique - from an estate auction house). She was very happy indeed - still livin' off the brownie points
On the downside it sets a baseline of expectations going forward.
