Why not open up the laneway at the former Palace Nova entrance to allow for outdoor dining at T2?

They would be nice, but I think it's a fire exit for the cinema at the end of the lane.

Because chewing on raw tea leaves isn't fun? They sell tea leaves - not prepared cups of tea, and definitely not food.
Only NSW's Macquarie and Hornsby have a T2 Tea House where they sell the prepared teas with cafe style food.

Because chewing on raw tea leaves isn't fun? They sell tea leaves - not prepared cups of tea, and definitely not food.

Tbar in the Adelaide Central Markets sells an exotic range of tea leaves and accessories (strainers, bodum glasses, etc). You can also purchase a prepared cuppa with your slightly exotic breakfast - no bacon & eggs, it's salmon & eggs!

I'm waiting for my wife to stop being pregnant so we can get to some of the awesome (looking) Japanese restaurants in the city at the moment.

I tried the crepe shop today. It was pretty good, but no quite as good as the real deal in Tokyo.

As usual with most places labelled "Japanese" in Adelaide, it's not actually Japanese. (According to their business card, the manager's name is Emma Li).

Interesting. That site has no loading dock, does it? Adding fridges and cool rooms is no trivial exercise so I'm suprised they're gonna bother for a store that will exist for less than two years.

I agree it seems like a waste of money. There is also a time issue, 18 months to get the HS Coles up? If this becomes an express store then the fit out will take a few months at least. So are they looking at doing all this for 1 year? Seems pointless. It makes me sceptical of this information.

They have such a great space there at Borders.

Wouldn't it be nice to see a Bar/Restaurant perhaps. Something that adds life to the mall around the clock? Similar to The Richmond, but less TAB/grossness downstairs.
