Hallet Cove beach station reopened last week. Right click each image and then click "view" to view it properly

Is that roof an overall cover or just a frame. Otherwise quite impressed.

Just a frame, the rest of the cover will be added after electrification.

I like the new LCD screens at Hallet Cove, would be nice to see them installed at every busy station, hopefully they're more accurate than the RealFailTime LED system. But with these newer stations, they really need to employ both station staff and security, plus regular cleaners otherwise they're going to go the way of Mawson Lakes, nice for the first 2 weeks, then trashed for the next 5 years. Also with extra the CCTV cameras installed out at Mawson, crime and vandalism only got worse

One of these appeared recently at Blackwood too.

dont know where to post this but hardly any of Canada's railways have concrete sleepers which is quite odd. We all carry on about everywhere having concrete sleepers. Used Montreals metro/subway system today. Quite an extensive and busy system, but the rubber tyre wheels make the most awful bumpy ride and very noisy

Considering their local abundance of timber, it doesn't seem odd to me.

Caught a train (3000-class?) for the first time in ages, and I have to say I was impressed. A massive improvement compared to the scratched filthy windows, ugly 80s interior and shocking station announcements in the old interior. The new interior is more modern and 10x better.

You can also notice an improvement with the railway track between North Adelaide and Mawson Lakes due to the recent upgrade. Alot smoother and faster.

Looks like no time being wasted in the demolition of Elizabeth Station. Other forums are reporting that the tracks and ballast along the majority of the corridor have now been stripped away.

The works fortunately do not affect the standard gauge main lane (where the interstate trains run).

Elizabeth Station is gone, as is the Up platform at Munno Para.
