The only mention of it in the Messenger, which was a pretty short article, just said 'in the car park'. It was light on details.

The car wash would be similar to that opened at Arndale I suspect.
On a side note relating to TTP, I drove there yesterday to see a movie and had never been so confused in my life - the car park on the North East road side is a nightmare. I hope this is being addressed in the upgrade. Also, had to have a laugh when I saw the older section of TTP - eg. Myer. It looks very dated compared with the rest of the centre. And what is that woeful spire on top of Myer??

That spire has been part of the bulding itself.

That spire has been part of the bulding itself.

...and has been part of the Tea Tree Plaza logo (back when the Westfield branding wasn't quite so prominent and TTP had its own logo).

Ah the old branding, "Tea Tree Plaza beats them all", though I always suspected that it was chosen as it was clever marketing because you could also interpret it as "Tea Tree Plaza beats the mall".

I was chatting to the BDM from AMP capital investors the other day and something I didn't realise is that AMP actually own part of the shopping centre, and some of the surrounding land, through one of their property funds. So naturally I asked him if there's been any mention of an upgrade or expansion and he said nothing concrete but there have been discussions around extending and redeveloping it. I keep in regular contact with this guy and asked him to keep me posted if he hears anything.

Magic Hand Car Wash have 'coming soon' signs in the car park to the south
of the shopping centre. Magic own the one in the West Lakes shopping centre.
