Piling is well and truly underway on site, most of the cages are on site for the piles so I'd say it won't be too much longer until we see a crane and some upward movement.

Piling well underway.
Also, there's a sales office being set up in the ground floor of the new car park. I believe it's for the apartment building. It's going by the name Qi Living, with a website at http://qiliving.net.au/ although there is nothing there yet.

We count the ground floor as the 1st level, and if the building has a large plant floor, it is also counted as a floor.Dvious wrote:It keeps saying 19 and 16, but when i count from the renders i get less than that, am i going stupid here?

^ Plant rooms aren't counted because they're not lettable space. It's an industry standard.

I understnad what you are saying, however according to Emporis and the Council on Tall Buildings and Urban Habitat plant floors are counted as a floor. In fact for as long as we have run this forum, we have used this standard for counting the floors of a building.AtD wrote:^ Plant rooms aren't counted because they're not lettable space. Im presuming that the piling rig, trenches and cage things are works associated with the office/residential component of the building?
