Sooooo much better than seeing tags and even spray art. This is street art IMO.

That portrait video is brilliant and I agree with rhino 100%.

Also shows how you can put on a hi-viz vest, put out a couple of cones and people assume you're meant to be there!

I think they worked best on brick walls, something about the texture coming through. Fabulous. My little circle of misfits were enthralled about these a while ago.

So much better than that ugly pixelated face image that was erected everywhere a couple of months ago. That wasn't art, this however is. I love it and agree with mono's comment.

You mean the 'like' series? That would be the same artist...

Topham Wall was fantastic when it was first done, now it's very average which is very disappointing. Well that was a few weeks ago, so hopefully it's been improved again.

Has SA ever put forward a proposal to host the games?

It costs a lot to put a bid together - sport or other international event - but the benefits are great. Provides a focus and timeline for infrastructure upgrades and impetus for development not to mention the 'feel good' bonus for South Australians.

Funds? Mining industry to the rescue?

Is there an Asian games?

This City Mayors (running the world's cities) site looks like a useful source of information sharing and ideas from cities around the world.

Hey guys, I'm back from volunteering at Kangaroo Island's surf music festival and ASP World competition. It was greatest thing to have ever happened to the South Australian surfing community. I had the time of my life there. Kangaroo Island is one of the greatest places in Australia. I would rather go to KI then Sydney any day.

Wasn't that due to a fair bit of corruption?

We could of easily won these 2018 games, but our former Treasurer and State Premier had to act like pretentious snobs acting like we are too good for them. This could of been the exact boast Adelaide needed to show Australia that we are back in the game as a vibrant happening city. Considering we are already spending money on Adelaide Oval, Convention Centre, Riverbank, swimming facilities and countless transport projects just makes me even more annoyed that we didn't launch an official bid.

Sure it is an B-grade event, but we have no hope in hell of attracting the Olympic Games in our lifetime. So we may aswell have a shot at the Commonwealth Games.

This would of also been a major boast for state pride. Another opportunity missed, thanks Rann and Foley.... :(
