Awkrard for me then... Perhaps the other one is 20-22 Currie Street then since it's listed as on hold rather than cancelled.

Wow, 418 rooms! Nice. I like the 'private lounge' on level 27... sounds like an exclusive observation deck in practice.

I have got to say, this is definitely in my top 3 of 'want to happen' developments in Adelaide at the moment. The impact this will have on the view as you come in from the airport will be awesome (adding some visual balance to the towers, including Westpac, on thr right) and from the other end (Grenfell Street), looking west. Not to mention it's an attractive building... nice and glassy :-)

Why the glum face? The state government's DAC's approval rate is almost 100%.

They rejected the vile student apartment proposals at 399 KWS and 260 Pulteney Street, so they do not need to make a 'statement' with this development.

And the reason why we don't have an observation deck is because we do not have a building tall enough for one. And before you criticise Adelaide for being a backwater for not having an observation deck, ask yourself why Brisbane or Perth do not have one too, even though they have tall-enough buildings.
