I totally agree with you on this one Will.

It would be a huge disappointing mistake if this amazing local asset was downgraded to a non tropical rainforest. There is no flora like this near our state, so it's a great place to relax or take visitors who have never experienced a tropical rainforest.

It's unique to Australia. And yes Tourism SA are useless.

I've been thinking and we can't loss this, there needs to be a better business strategy. Things like naming rights, sponsorship, discount price offer, improved tourism marketing and better signage. Even the construction of solar panels.

Our Botanic Gardens are one of Adelaide's best assets and deserve to be promoted widely. The Bicentennial Conservatory must be saved in its current format. The funding shortfall does not seem to be a large amount. Sponsorship/naming rights and use of solar panels, as per Crawf's suggestions, could be the answer.

My personal favourite is the historic and extremely beautiful Palm House Conservatory (1877).
A great contrast between the old and the new. Worth a trip to the Botanic Gardens.

Bouquets to whomever decided to turn the fountains on around Grenfell Centre (Black Stump). They've probably been on for ages and I've just never seen them, but it's miles better than that awful barren wall. More of this, please. Lovely to hear the sound of water back in the CBD.

Great news1 James Place is one of the laneways with the most potential in Adelaide.
