soooo a new Mcdonalds opened up at Aldinga... it has a double laned drive thru... and some attractive ladies working there... but I'm more keen on the double laned drive thru!!! maybe this should be put into the infrastructure section.

That's becoming the norm everywhere these days, the Maccas in Fulham Gardens has one.

I don't understand why they have introduced a 2-lane drive through, it doesn't make the lineup any faster :?

There's quite a few of those around.

Crawf: they're for when people can't make up their minds and hold up the queue.

Munno para has had a two lane Hungry Jacks and Mcdonalds for a couple of years now.

Looks like the northern suburbs are ahead of the rest.

Omg there's a BreadTop in Adelaide. I think I've put on 10kg thanks to these people. You walk in to buy one and walk out buying five. Omnomnom

There's actually two now - one on Grote St, and one on King William St, at the entrance of Southern Cross arcade.
I'm certainly responsible for going through a large number of their red bean buns. ;)

Yes, you are correct. Although i can't recall where i heard the news. Here's a historical factoid - the Brecknock used to be called the 'Brecon Arms' (way before our time). I think the backpacker accomm next door is called the Brecon Inn - unsure if it was part of the recent sale.
Does anyone know where the Brecknock is?

I've long been meaning to buy something from Breadtop, but I'm never in a position when I'm both in town and hungry for obscure baked goods. This needs to change, I feel.

Do note:

You can just make out October 1919 as the start date, and 1925(6?) as the completion date for War Memorial Drive. Next time you're in the area, take a look and tell us the exact date. ;)
