In countries that don't have a social security safety net, safety comes a distant second in things to worry about, when you are faced with the reality that if you don't work you die of hunger.

Thanks for the photo updates guys.
I wonder whether they'll use the same solar glass as the new tram stop shelters?

Much appreciated Will. Great shots there!
I'll be dancing on the demolished remains of the old station once this is finished.

It would progress really quickly if they could do 1-2 new stations per year, re-sleepering 1 line per year as well as electrification which would hopefully be done straight after the re-sleepering... :wank: :wank: :wank:

work is now progressing on the station signs now - by which i mean the long signs similar to the mawson interchange below:
Interestingly the ones at oaklands at the moment are red. would have thought they would have been blue to match the rest of the stations on the noarlunga line

Any chance of there being high-rise development next to the interchange? i've not been to that area in a looong time - forget what the surrounding area looks like. Lots of 1960's houses perhaps? I know Westfield is up the road a bit...

There isn't any there but when we do see non-coastal high rise developments in the suburbs, i reckon marion would be a prime candidate

Thanks for the update. So much for TransAdelaide's colour codes.
