According to Google
252 (two hundred [and] fifty-two) is the natural number following 251 and preceding 253.

Is it meant to be an 8?

Chinese numerology is very complicated. Things are only lucky if your parents want you to do the thing. If they don't, then it's unlucky.

Actually, mathematics is a man made concept, so therefore it's not a natural number. Ergo, Google is wrong.

But I'm not sure I'm a fan of the 252 525 pattern on the building. Anyone know why they did that?
Now I've seen it I can't unsee it ...
Haha, you seriously couldn't see it until I pointed it out? I kind of thought it was an elephant in the room as it can be seen on the renders and nobody mentioned it
The renders on page 1 also seem to show an "8" in the middle of the 252 525. Is that lucky? Don't know if that's still happening though.

I noticed the numbers from the first render, would be interested to know why they are there

The building is looking very close to completion! I noticed the balcony dividers are bright orange perspex, which is an interesting choice.. Also the proposed sandstone seen from the front appears to have been replaced by a high-gloss tile. Probably a better choice long term. Hopefully the glass atrium will be going up soon, if not already. These pics were taken 17/03.
(In the second pic you may notice some furniture packages being rolled out for the balconies. There's some curtains going up too..)

At the front several shops on the ground floor are been fitted out. Cladding has been completed on floors 2 and 3 .The small blue squares may be Gold colour as on the side. At the rear a semi transparent sheeting has been added to the sloping steel work.

Just goes to show how under-developed our city really is!
