Great shots thanks for that.
If you're into traditional North Chinese food, the new restaurant Bazu (pictured on the right of the first photo you took) is the greatest! No one does north china food as spicy or as nice as these guys.jk1237 wrote:dont know if there has been too much change since xmas holidays

I havent ate at that Bazu yet, sounds nice. A mate who now lives in Sydney goes crazy over t-chow in Moonta St. Its nice, but not the best. Oh how i love that Vietnamese restaurant (Star city i think) on Gouger St, but past Morphett St. Its cruddy inside, but its so nice food, and they have sparling ale stubbies for $5Howie wrote:Great shots thanks for that.

Plenty of work continuing here...

I can't stop looking at the Optus Building and feeling pity that it will no longer be visible when Hills building are being constructed.

Quick pic from today as this one rockets along thanks to the magic of steel:

Great pics thanks. Judging by the size, is there roughly 6 levels to go?

I swear i saw the two cranes hit each other today... could just be an optical illusion from my building.

Speaking of cranes - there were 4 earlier on in this thread. I went over from Brisbane in Jan. and saw only 2 - what happened to the others?

This one will start having an impact on the skyline soon. Pic from a different angle today (plus a bit of in-car glare ).

I snapped up a photo of its crane and partner in crime yesterday

Couple of quick pics from late this arvo. Can see the Thomson Playford core and the SA Water crane plus the attachments for the glass on the ground and 1st floors. The glass shouldn't be too far away, hopefully it is decent and like the renders.

This one is going up unbelievably fast, can someone tell me why steel frames aren't used more often???
Surely the increased cost of material would be saved by the decreased labour cost, or are there other factors that make steel less desirable???

Starting to look fairly large already... and this one seemingly still has seven floors remaining! Considering it's location, even 13 levels is going to make a good impact, along with the Thomson Playford building, which is almost like a slightly shorter twin being so close.
