I am in favour of the reduced speed limits for now. Just the other day I saw a guy move from the right lane to the Salisbury Highway off-ramp, crossing about 4 lanes of traffic in 1 single sweep.
I understand the reduced speed limits around the southern interchange. But north of Bolivar rd? Please, just put it up.
Northern interchange also has a reduced speed limit for the same good reason - people are used to not having a choice of direction, so aren't making sensible lane choices in advance, and suddenly realise that where they have been going for the last ten years is now an option that involves turning off to the left, instead of following the road round the curve then merging right.
60 seems a bit extreme for the northern end. 80 would suffice for the time being.

I have noticed that trucks tend to drive in middle lane not the left lane in between Southern Interchange and Northern Expressway, in some parts the left lane on the northbound side appears to slope a bit like a speedway. The Bolivar interchange just seems badly designed.

Google Maps now features the NC, but updates are still required for the Southern and Bolivar Interchanges.

I have no problems with the bolivar interchange, I find it very easy to navigate.

That being said, having only 1 turn lane from Bolivar Road onto PWR northbound is pretty stupid. During construction everyone was using 2 lanes to turn north and it worked much better

Surprised there aren't police all over this yet with radar guns out pulling dick heads over.
Particularly just as you come off the superway heading north on it where the temp speed is 60, people flying through there at 90.
Even the PREXY/Salisbury Hwy part where the speed is reduced temporarily people not slowing down just going through at 80..
Absolute fucking morons, and then they accuse SAPOL of revenue raising and complain when fixed speed cameras go up.

just a question on the side, if youre in gawler main street spending a day there, how do you get on the expressway from there to come home to adelaide, there seems no quick direct route from murray road without having to travel south right through gawler, and theres no on-track if you go north of murray road?

There are entries at the northern tip of Gawler (start of Horrocks Highway) and to the northwest, off Redbanks Road.

It seems a little silly but Gawler mostly has to drive 3km on Two Wells Road right next to the express way to access the express way.

When I have appointments near the north end of Murray Street, I generally use the Redbanks Road interchange, as directed by TomTom. That tends to be around morning peak hour, coming from Main North Road, leaving on Northern Expressway.

Interestingly the northern expressway is still shown as the M20. When did it change to M2?

Years ago, I remember them changing the signs. I think it might have been when the superway was being constructed, because prior to the NC being complete we had 3 seperate M2's
M2 Nexy
M2 (Superway)
M2 Sexy

We still do: northern expressway - superway, t2t, Southern expressway. All signposted as M2

Yes we still do but the separation is actually Nexy, NSM and Sexy. Don’t forget NC, Superway, R2P and T2T aren’t separate roads they’re smaller parts of a single whole. It’s Nexy and Sexy that are separate from the NSM.

Speed limits on the Northern Connector will be lifted to 110km/h from about 11am tomorrow.
