Because I just like the current slogan. That's all.
Isn't the current slogan "Quality food costs less at Coles" ?

Feel free to move to The Pub, btw.
I saw the shortened one in a banner ad months ago.

Is there a website anywhere that has a list of where motorcycle parks are in the city and suburbs, including on street and parking buildings that have them (I think they all do... but am unsure)? That would be awesome.

A few new Scania CB80 buses are sporting the 'inverted' Adelaide Metro livery!

The ads at the bottom of the page are suggesting I meet 'mature singles in my area' and participate in 'events for the over-40s'.

I was hoping they'd be introducing a sexier livery like the one on the trams imported from France (that have now been ruined by all-over advertising).. instead they released an even worse one where they just swapped two colours around, very lazy of them

it better just be a trial and that they've realized how bad it looks.

I've yet to see one of these inverted livery buses, but dear god, I hope you don't mean they actually made the front bits white and the back bits yellow?

I was also curious after reading about the livery here, so I went hunting for a picture and came across this:

Personally, they should just make the whole bus red. Would be quinessentially English of us to do so. :D

Oh, that looks horrible.

I always thought they made yellow the predominant colour for safety reasons (particularly for trains).

To me, it's blue triangle that makes the current scheme unappealing. Just screams of trying to shoehorn in "the state colours". If they got rid of that, and have just the yellow front with a red diagonal it would work much better.
It would also mean that the yellow is maintained for safety/visibility, and also keeps it in line with the standard yellow bus stop signage.

I honestly don't have any problem with the Adelaide Metro livery. It makes sense to have the yellow front, it's easy to see the busses coming from a long way off, and yellow is an obvious safety colour. There are better liveries, and there are many worse. If you want to see something really bad, have a look at the Yarra Trams livery. What's more important, IMHO, is that the whole of Adelaide Metro shares the same livery, the same corporate identity.
