May as well follow Shuz's lead and post a photo of myself on here. I am not what you would call in the best of shape but that is me below.

Image

That photo was taken over the past weekend out in the Riverland at Walker Flat. I was standing in a dried up lake bed where a couple of years ago, I would've been standing two metres below surface level which is how it was when I was last there.

Hi Guys, this is more of a re-introduction post as I have been overseas for the best part of the last 12 months. My name is Brian, I'm 35 years old, married and have 4 children! I'm in the defence force hence the reason for my long absence from this site. Most places where I was there was very limited internet access and for some reason this forum was blocked as well! Go figure. Anyway Adelaide is progressing fast ATM and I welcome the news about the ACC powers as well as K. Folleys views on height etc. I have lived all around Australia with my job and am now in Canberra until the end of next year. So if there are any fellow Canberran's on this site then drop us a line!

I look forward to participating on this site again as I am now back home (wish it was Adelaide though!)

Cheers guys and look forward to the day that I can proudly call Adelaide home again. In the mean time I will watch this site everyday for the regular updates on all the great projects currently underway. Don't be shy about taking pics around the place as it's annoying to read about a project but rarely having the opportunity to just drive past and check it out.

Regards, Brian.

Cheers mate, My children's ages are 14, 9, 2, 5 months and I am proud to say that despite all our moving around Oz they were all born in good old Adelaide!

I'm seriously surprised at how few females.

Given the relative anonymity of the Internet, I could well be a middle-aged single mother from North Brighton, devouring chocolate cake and browsing the forums amidst re-runs of Young and the Restless in my slippers and Yogi Bear nightie.

I'm surprised too! Unless Omicron is right and we are all telling fibs, lol.

I count three females: you Sonata, City Girl (hello City Girl *waving*) and me. It's the start of many more female members on this forum, I hope. I'll put the kettle on.. :D

Cheers, Caroline

I've always been interested to wonder why there are few women associated with the architectural/pro-development agendas? Are buildings really that phallic? because I mean that's not always the case. It's a bit dissapointing really because I muchlies appreciate the opinions and input from females to oppose or highlight issues that are forgotten.
